Several new signs have been added to Platte Clove Road and the Devils Kitchen area. Also towards the bottom is a gate that can swing to close the road to vehicular traffic (not pictured below Picture of the gate taken on May 24, 2012 and added to gallery below. The sign on the gate is white and states “Road Closed”).
At the top in the Devils Kitchen parking area as seen in the pictures below are several signs that state ‘Snow Plow Turnaround/ No Parking Any Time’. Also as one walks from the Devils Kitchen parking area towards the ravine there is a warning sign that states: ‘Warning Hazardous Gorge Ahead/ Sheer Cliffs/ Swift Water/ Slippery Footing’.
